An emotional wedding with Brad and Lauren at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, MI

Today was definitely one of the most emotional weddings I’ve shot in a while. Brad and Lauren are incredible people with amazing families. We were privileged to photograph their special day. I’m not a super emotional person, but I found myself tearing up on many occasions both during the wedding and later in the night when I was looking through some of their photos.
The ceremony was at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel which is a beautiful church and the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. It was followed by the wedding reception held at the Royal Park Hotel’s conservatory.
There was laughter, tears, and even a little jumping on the bed which must have been a nice stress reliever after an emotional roller coaster they’ve been on for the last few weeks.

I also want to send out an extra special thanks to Connie Falmer from Studio 405 for second shooting for me today. Cheridy has a crazy sinus infection and fever and could barely stand up.
