Cans for Gleaners Food Bank
Leave a comment or read comments. Currently there is(1) commentCheridy is actually out right now delivering cans to Gleaners Food Bank. A few weeks ago she had created a blog post saying that we would be donating one can of food for each blog comment received during a certain time period. Thanks to those that left commebts and even bigger thanks to those that donated additional cans and other food items for us to drop off. My wife has a really big heart and I just want to give her props for taking the time and initiative to help other people by coordinating this. For those that only know Cheridy a little bit, she most likely made you laugh within the first few minutes of knowing you…she might have even picked on you a little bit as she’s really quick with coming up with zingers and one-liners. But once you get to know her, you’ll know that she is also a really sensitive person with a big heart who always puts other people before herself.
You know, I have known Cheridy since she moved in across the street from me in 1982. Even though it had been 13 years or so since I had seen her at Ferris, seeing her on Sunday made me realize she is still the same. That is a wonderful thing. She always had a huge heart and very sensitive to other people. She is still quick-witted and fun. She has a way to make you feel good about yourself. Missed you all these years, Cheridy. Hopefully we will hang out again soon. Love ya, Kim
