We shot Grayson’s seven month pictures at our studio in Rochester Hills, MI. You might remember him from his newborn photo shoot, which can be seen here. Grayson is such a sweet, good-natured, adorably chubby baby boy! He was full of smiles and laughs and he loved playing with balloons and bubbles. This was a great shoot, we love working with Grayson’s parents Sheri and Phil because they are both easy-going, sweet people.

We shot Matt and Adrienne and baby at the farm house in Orion Township, Michigan. They are previous wedding clients of ours and we were super excited to work with them again and so thrilled to hear that they are going to be parents.

Ivy is the first baby to complete our one year baby plan. Take a look at her previous shoots… maternity, newborn, and six months. We took Ivy’s one year photos at her house in Lake Angelus, Michigan. She was pretty funny because she was very ornery one minute and then smiling and talking the next minute. It was a little bittersweet knowing that this was the last time we would photograph baby Ivy… however, I’m sure we’ll do more family pictures with the DeClaire’s in the near future! ;-)

We shot Darian’s baby shoot at the farm house in Orion, Michigan… and what a joy it was! She is an adorable baby, who’s also super photogenic and extremely happy. Also, her parents are just the nicest people, so this photo shoot was a lot of fun and a great experience.

At the start of the baby shoot here at our studio in Rochester Hills, Michigan; baby Grayson was not a happy camper. He was quite upset, but I have to add that he had the sweetest little cry! He calmed down long enough to get some great photos, but it wasn’t until he got dressed, that he was officially happy!

We became friends with Lindsey and Mike when we shot their wedding 4 years ago at Cherry Creek Golf Course. So we were absolutely thrilled when we were asked to shoot their precious family addition! When they arrived at the studio little Izzy was having a rough morning and was not a happy camper but we still managed to get some great photos…

Working with Andrea and Andy Zielinsky again was so much fun, we shot their wedding five years ago at Pine Knob Carriage House http://arisingimages.com/blog/zielinsky-wedding/69/ and now we had the pleasure of shooting their one year old son, Adam. We went to the farm house on a day that started off with rain and wind and ended up being a gorgeous sunny afternoon… a day great for pictures.

Adam’s favorite line of the day was, “Ahhh Boooooom!!!” This picture captured one of those precious moments, when he stumbled and said his infamous line.

We had the opportunity to photograph baby Ivy at her house overlooking the beautiful Lake Angelus. The rain held off enough to get a nice mix of indoor and outdoor photos. Ivy is such a sweet little girl, we had a blast photographing her big smile.

From now through May 10, we will be doing discounted photo shoots for kids and babies as a fundraiser.
Until May 10th, our kids and babies photo shoots will start at $99 instead of $375. From that $99, $50 will go to an organization called Invisible Children which is a non-profit organization which raises awareness about the plight of the children in Uganda along with helping to build schools to rehabilitate them. In Uganda, over 30,000 children as young as 10 years old have been abducted and turned into fighters, laborers or sex slaves for a war that has been going on for 25 years.
The money for this fundraiser will help a great organization that is making a difference.

We are blessed that we live in a country where our kids are not exposed to death and violence. Our children have the opportunity to grow up in safe homes where they get to laugh and play while on the other side of the world, children are being forced to murder and in some cases have even been forced to murder their own families. They have lived their entire lives not knowing what peace looks like.
We are very blessed. Lets not forget how blessed we are.

We recently had the pleasure of photographing the Patel family who are amazing people that are smiling ear to ear with their new bundle of joy.

2010 was an amazing year for us and I put together a collection of images shot throughout the year that includes photos and paintings from weddings, landscapes, babies, high school seniors, etc.
These images were created through a lot of hard work, but we feel blessed to have been a part of all these things and hope you enjoy this video slideshow.

This morning we got together with some of our favorite old clients Jeff and Amber. We shot their wedding back in 2005 and were SUPER excited to photograph them with their newest addition. They brough Ivy in to the studio for some baby pics. She was born just a couple weeks ago and she was one of the most alert and well behaved newborns we’ve ever photographed.
