A few weeks ago at our Rochester Hills, MI studio we took some amazing artistic pregnancy photos for Amber, whose baby is due to arrive in early December. We had photographed her awesome 2005 wedding and were delighted to hear from her again now that she is with child. Only Amber knows if she is having a boy or girl since her husband wants to be surprised! Amber showed up to the shoot all smiles and was incredibly relaxed and easy to photograph; this is one confident woman! It’s easy to see why, she looked quite the part of a goddess!

Today we did a fun, natural family photo shoot at the park in Rochester, MI for Matt & Melissa and their 10 month old son Tyler. What a great looking bunch! Tyler was as cute as can be with those big blue eyes and his very first tooth! The sky was rather gray, but we thought we were quick enough to miss the incoming rain…not quite! Everyone got a little wet, but Tyler didn’t seem to mind a few drops.

It was supposed to storm the day we went over to the Schmidt’s house for a family photo shoot, but we were lucky enough to see great weather instead. This super kind and friendly bunch was a lot of fun to shoot. With three kids and an infant running around the energy was very lively. We even got to help catch frogs!

Recently we had the pleasure of getting to hang out with little Tyler to do some fun photos in the studio.

A few days ago we got to see our friends John, Michelle, and Sydney. Sydney is on our one year plan where we photograph kids three times during their first year of life. It’s so amazing to watch Sydney grow through the images! Here’s links to her first shoot and second shoot.

On Monday morning we had the opportunity to get together with our friends Ralph and Devon and photograph them with their little baby Jaia. We shot their wedding two years ago, and did baby pics with Jaia last year as well. She is a super cute little girl who was really easy to take fun kids photos for.

This afternoon we did a photo shoot with little Breckin. He was a super well tempered little guy that was fun to photograph…and he loves pushing buttons on dishwashers!!

This afternoon we got together with the Pfeifers. We photographed their baby Aaron a few years ago and now they were back with their family along with their new little one…Carson.
We photographed Aaron every time he would stop running and then we would switch off and get a few of Carson during his happy moments. We ended up with lots of great photos from today’s session. Here are a few of them:

This afternoon we did a second photo shoot for baby Sydney. She’s on our baby plan where we photograph her three times during her first year to show how much she’s changed.
We first saw her when she was three weeks old and it’s already amazing how much more active and alert she is. She’s about 3.5 months old now.

This afternoon we got together with the Gleeson family and shot photos of their 3 week old baby Sydney. She was an adorable little one who held up really well during the photo shoot. We’re looking forward to doing photo shoots with her later this year as part of our baby plan.
