The winner of our 2007 summer contest is Ann Wilson and family. We had 23 entries and it was definitely hard to choose. Congrats Wilsons!! We’re looking forward to doing your photo shoot.
I will not be releasing the details of the photo shoot that they will be doing…that’s going to stay a secret, but I will be sure to post lots of pics once the shoot happens!

Tonight I held week 3 of my advanced photo class. The goal of today was to do an actual photo shoot and walk through the entire processing and sales presentation with my students.
About half an hour before the shoot it was pouring rain and hailing like crazy…it was total insanity! We weren’t sure what we were going to do.
But right before our models/friends (Jody and Dani Medford) came over, our prayers were answered and the sky cleared up for the photo shoot. By the time the class was done, it was dark and storming and miserable again!
Here are just a couple pics of Jody and Dani:

Lindsey is one of our brides for later this year and she thought it would be a fun idea to get some pics with her brothers for mothers day. They couldn’t forget about Jack the dog!!

This afternoon we did our second annual shoot with Fallon. Last year when she came, she cried almost the whole time. This time, she was much better and we were able to capture a lot of her different expressions.

This afternoon we got to do some baby pics with little Chumani. She’s a funny little one. The best way to make her smile was to let her play with your cell phone!

Today we did a photo shoot with the Goetz girls. Their parents are good friends of ours from our church. Angela works at our church and Allan is actually the owner of the company where Cheridy has her part time job. Their kids were just WAY too cute!!

Tonight we did a last minute photo shoot with the Gryniewicz family. We became friends with Ron and Amy after shooting their wedding earlier this year and they wanted to do a family shoot which worked out great because Ron’s parents live right near by us.

Early in they year, Kathy Parker was one of the students in my photography class that I taught. Her and her husband Scott have family all around the world and once a year they all come home for 24 hours over Christmas time. Kathy and Scott’s five kids come along with spouses and grand children and they gather, laugh together, and enjoy that special 24 hours. Kathy’s daughter Keri hired Cheridy and I to come out as a surprise for Kathy and do some photos of the family.
Here are a few of those pictures:
