Children’s photography in Michigan - Capturing fun photos of kids

Kids photography is one of the most fun kind of shoots out there.  Younger children are typically very candid and natural and they will run, play, giggle, etc. giving us endless opportunities for fun photos.
Our goal when doing photos of children is typically three things.
1) We want to get pictures of parents interacting with the children.
2) We want to have brothers and sisters playing together for some of the photos.
3) We would love to shoot individual pictures of each child while they are having fun.

For all three of the above goals, the most important thing is that all the photos are natural and fun and that everyone is having a good time.  We want REAL joy and laughter and want families to play together while we capture all the smiles, tickles, and giggles.

Along with photos of parents and children interacting with each other, we love to get photos of the kids playing together. In some cases there is just one child or there is a large age gap between kids which can make this more difficult, but when there are multiple kids that are similar in age, we always try to get some of these.
