This evening we had an engagement shoot with Nicole and Kyle. They are a super laid back couple and had no problem getting all snuggly together and they really made our job super easy.

Last night we shot Terry and Kim’s wedding. They got married at Oak Arbor church which was really neat because they have LOTS of huge windows which let in a lot of natural light. After that, they went to Camp Ticonderoga which is a restaurant where they met, and then we went to the reception at Cherry Creek Golf Club. Cherry Creek is a really nice location because it has a beautiful indoor and outdoor setting.

Here are a few of my initial thoughts at some album pages for Andy and Andrea. One of the goals is to create album layouts that are untraditional, creative, and artistic.

Today was one of the hottest days of the year so far and the sun was incredibly intense. Luckily Andy and Andrea’s outdoor wedding was underneath the pavilion at the Pine Knob carraige house. The shade was truly a blessing and a nice breeze kept the temperature comfortable.
Photography is all about capturing light, and the light today was amazing! The carraige house is a spectacular place for a wedding because the pavilion outdoors provides shade but at the same time allows LOTS of light to come in, and the house itself has lots of large windows which also let a lot of light in… a photographers dream come true!!!

For those of you that check into the blog regularly, you’ll probably get tired of seeing pictures of dancers from our church. However, it’s one of the things that we like most about Kensington church…there’s always something beautiful, artistic, and creative.

Today was the annual Scleroderma Foundation Walk/Run for 2006. Cheridy and I volunteered there for the last two years to help photographically document the event. It was an absolutely perfect day outside and the event went off really smoothly. At the beginning of the day, they had already raised $70,000 for the Scleroderma Foundation…I can’t wait to see what their final tally was!

Legendary football star Barry Sanders and his family were there to support the event. Barry is an avid supporter of the Scleroderma Foundation…his sister lost the battle to the disease a few years ago.

What a beautiful day for a portrait shoot…the weather has been fantastic around here. We got to spend some time with Becky and Tony and had fun shooting a few pics this afternoon.

We just completed our new consultation space…putting images up on the wall along with setting up a projector and screen to make it easier to show our clients their images.

Cheridy and I went to church this morning. Kensington church is known for being over the top sometimes, but today was really wild. They were talking about the Davinci Code and as part of the opener they played a song from an 80’s hair band called the CodeBreakers. They went all out with the outfits and the stage lighting and everything. It was so funny that Cheridy and I went home after the second service, got our cameras and went back for the last service to take photos. Then I made up a little poster:
