Kris and Jessi were married in Kalamazoo yesterday and after the ceremony we went to Bronson Park which had some really cool surrounding buildings that provided for some great backdrops. Afterward, they had their reception at the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo.

Today we had a great time shooting senior pics for Laura.

Today we did high school senior pics for Ashlee. She had her braces taken off this morning so she could get her pics done without them. It was raining all day and we were concerned we would have to reschedule the shoot, but other than some crazy humidity, it all worked out great!!

This afternoon we had the privilege to shoot Doug and Cynthia’s newborn baby. We shot their wedding a couple years ago so it was great to see them again…this time with a new bundle of joy!!

Scott and Kelly got married at the Inn at St. Johns yesterday.

We had done their engagement shoot a few months ago and we ended up using a green dumpster for the background because of the cool color. While we were out shooting, we found another green dumpster and just had to take a shot in front of it.

Monday and Tuesday this week Cheridy and I took off for a short vacation to the west side of the state to South Haven, MI. It is a small coastal town with white sandy beaches and lots of nice places to relax! This will most likely be our last trip before the baby comes so we decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel with a room overlooking Lake Michigan.
We didn’t do a whole lot…just lounged around and read a book and hung out. It was a nice couple of days! Both evenings we went down by the lighthouse and watched the sunset and boats going by, it was really nice!
