Yesterday we enjoyed a fabulous afternoon with Rob and Becky out in Northville for their engagement photos.

This afternoon was one of those crazy days where an outdoor photo shoot is a bit of a sketchy idea. It was hot and humid and threatening thunderstorms all day. However, like most days like this, the rain held off and the photos turned out fantastic and we had a wonderful time getting to know Anna and her mom while we did the photo shoot in and around their home. We were thinking about heading to downtown Royal Oak to shoot some of her senior photos, but we ended up finding a ton of options right at their house.
Our goal is to be able to provide the best senior pictures in Michigan and when we have a person with a smile and personality like Anna, it makes our job easy.

Well, it’s that time of year again…WDIV is having their annual Vote 4 the Best contest, and we are in the running for best photographer. Thanks to the time you all spent voting for us last year, we were able to take first place. This was one of the best weekends we’ve had in a while. The three of us went up to the Tice cottage in Port Sanilac to hang out with our friends for a few days. We had some nice relaxation, a bit of sailing, some fireworks, and a lot of laughs! It was nice to see Ethan and Sarah who’s wedding we shot in Colorado earlier this year. We also got to hang out with Sharon, Sally, and Ndumi who’ve been long time friends of ours. We also had a chance to get to know Marcus and Melissa much better…thanks for a good game of Skip-Bo yesterday!
We were also treated to an amazing fireworks display put on by Port Sanilac…along with a rather lousy display put on by Ethan and I…Stupid Kmart fireworks!!
