Tonight we shot a fun wedding with Cliff and Arneshia. The ceremony and reception where at the Rattlesnake Club right on the Detroit river. Cliff and Neshia were so good together, it provided lots of great moments for fun pics.
Here’s just a few of my favorites from when we did their wedding photo shoot downtown.

This was a fun photo because we photographed them in an empty parking lot and Cliff was wondering what kind of photo we were going to be able to get there. Here ya go Cliff:

Loved the colorful shoes:

We went on the carousel for a few pics. I found the looking through the viewfinder while riding in circles makes me dizzy:

It’s rare for us to have an entire day off, but today was one of them! The weather was perfect so we went and spent the day outside at Cheridy’s parents house with her parents, sister, and nephew. We lounged outside, had a nice dinner and went for a boat ride around the lake. With the weather being nice, things are just going to get busier around here so having a day like today was a perfect break!!

Russell and Laurel are two of the sweetest people we’ve ever worked for. These two are caring and sweet but passionate and emotional at the same time. Everyone was so friendly, we felt like part of the family. After getting ready at Laurel’s parents house, we went to downtown Mt. Clemens for photos followed by the ceremony at the beautiful St. Peters church. The reception was at Cherry Creek Golf Club. We got to work with two of our favorite vendors – Mary Ann Ross who is an incredible DJ and Glenn Snively who is the most caring and personable limo driver we’ve ever come across. Here’s a few favorites from today:

Yesterday afternoon we had a beautiful day to hang out on the grounds of cranbrook where we photographed Frank and Jeannie for their engagement pics. Frank is quite the car buff and has a couple of viper’s so we incorporated one of them into the photoshoot.
Here’s a few pics from yesterday:

Today, we had a fantastic day photographing Mike and Dayna’s wedding. The weather gave us a bit of a scare early on, but it ended up being a spectacular day.
We took some really cool pics of them as we walked around downtown Utica:

This was taken during their special moment when they first saw each other at the beginning of the day:

I really like this shot of Dayna’s shoes:

Here’s another photo we took of them in Utica:

This may seem like a fairly ordinary photo but it was actually one of the most special moments we’ve ever photographed. This was Mike and Dayna’s first kiss…EVER. They dated for eight years and saved their first kiss for their wedding ceremony:

The reception was at Cherry Creek Golf Club. I absolutely love the architecture of the building and the grounds are always really pristine. We haven’t shot there in a while and when we were driving there, one of the things we were super excited about was dinner. Cherry Creek’s food is top notch!!

This afternoon we got together with Bill and Melissa for their engagement session. They are from DC and we hadn’t met them before today. The engagement shoot was so great because it gave us a chance to all hang out and get to know each other. Thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to get outside.

We’re lucky to be one of the few photographers on Cranbrook’s preferred photographer listing because a lot of our clients want to do photos there. Thankfully the grounds are so huge there are so many different places to go. We were back there again today with Chris and Melissa. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for us to walk around the beautiful property.
Here are a few favorite photos from today.
