Back in March we got to photograph the book signing for Hoppa’s Big Move, a childrens book by Erika Roman St. Pierre, a wonderful local author. We were thrilled when Erika came back to have her professional head shots taken by us. Her friendly and outgoing personality made her a pleasure to work with!

We attended and photographed the Kick It for Jonah soccer fundraiser in Sterling Heights, MI on May 22nd. Proceeds went to 15-year-old Jonah Chrisman in his fight against bone cancer. It was a great day for a little competition as the local police took on the firefighters and won 2 to 1. They had everything from smoothies to a bounce house and a raffle. It was a fun and successful day for a great cause! We’re cheering you on Jonah!
We were privileged to be able to photograph the 2010 Best of the Industry Awards for Michigan Meetings and Events Magazine for the Henry Ford. The event was held inside the Henry Ford Museum and everything was impeccable! Many of our friends within the industry were being honored that night; What great company we keep! The grand and unique venue was perfect for celebrating the best of the best in event planning.
The Royal Park Hotel is an awesome venue that we love working with! They have a fantastic staff including Director of Catering, Sue Keels. If luxury is what you’re looking for, Sue is your woman! From weddings to corporate events, they beautifully do it all.
Butorac Events is an awesome Metro Detroit based company for planning weddings, special events and corporate functions. Our good friend Angela Butorac is the Director of Events as well as owner of Butorac Business Development LLC. She provides vendor selection assistance, coordination, timeline management and more. She is the epitome of service with a smile!

A few days ago we got to see our friends John, Michelle, and Sydney. Sydney is on our one year plan where we photograph kids three times during their first year of life. It’s so amazing to watch Sydney grow through the images! Here’s links to her first shoot and second shoot.
We can’t wait to shoot Sydney with her new sibling who will be arriving in a month!!
Woohoooo! Congrats John and Michelle!
On Monday morning we had the opportunity to get together with our friends Ralph and Devon and photograph them with their little baby Jaia. We shot their wedding two years ago, and did baby pics with Jaia last year as well. She is a super cute little girl who was really easy to take fun kids photos for.

Last week we had a great time shooting some awesome senior photos with Elise.
We went to downtown Rochester, MI and found some great locations for her pictures.
On Monday we got to spend the whole day doing photos with Brooke. Brooke and her mom were coming from far away so we planned to spend the whole day with them. We did Brooke’s creative senior photos early in the day, edited everything and had them back later to view and order the photos.
Brooke did an incredible job and we got some killer images.

On Saturday we shot Dale and Emily’s wedding. They are good friends with Jeff and Erin who we photographed last year and oddly, Emily knows Justin who we photographed the night before…small world!!!
Dale and Emily are a lot of fun to hang out with and they were pretty much up for anything. Dale made a comment early in the day about wanting a shot that looked like a movie poster. I think we delivered with this first one:
