We took pictures of avid horse lover Sam who will be a senior next year at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor, MI. She has been riding since she was 5-years-old and currently competes in the dressage category with her Anglo Arabian horse Zoom. She hopes to attend the University of Michigan next year and we have no doubt that this confident and articulate young woman will do just that!

Yesterday morning, Mike and Stacy were married on the patio at Andiamo’s in Dearborn. We met up with them early to do their main photo shoot at Lovett Hall and Greenfield Village and had a fun time taking photos of them. We’ve known Mike for a few years and have just had the pleasure of getting to know Stacy who looked like she just stepped out of a wedding fashion magazine.

During the ceremony, Stacy’s eight year old daughter was invited to partake in the vows. She wept as she accepted Mike into their family and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Cheridy and I struggled to keep our own composure as both of us had tears welling up in our eyes.

Today we did senior pictures for all around cool girl Kameron. She will be a senior this fall at Academy of the Sacred Heart where she enjoys art, especially painting. She is often involved in set production for the drama department and has taken art classes at Cranbrook. She was really friendly, fun, and easy to work with. Love the rocker denim!

Last week we took senior pics of Drew from Brother Rice at a few locations in Rochester Hills, MI. We’ve known his family for several years, as his dad Mike and mom Mary Ann work for MKD, whom we often take photos for. Drew, who plays several instruments including guitar, bass, and keyboard, is always laid back and easy to work with. The pictures with his shades and “axe” are killer!

We’re excited to announce the latest intro to photography class taught in the metro detroit area.
The class will be Sunday October 17th from 9:30-5:30.

This morning I completed a painting of a sailboat for a friend of mine. We were at their cottage up in Port Sanilac many years ago and I shot this photo from the shoreline while they were out sailing on Lake Huron.
