I say storm chasing, but really… we were trying to outrun the storms on this day. Angela and Dan drove all the way from Allen Park to get their engagement photos done at the Orion, Michigan Farm house. However, when we went to the farm it started pouring rain as soon as we turned down the street it is located on. Prem decided we should go into Downtown Lake Orion for the engagement shoot instead, because that way if the rain stopped we wouldn’t have to deal with the wet, muddy ground. So, we go to Lake Orion in rush hour traffic and the sky turns green and the monsoon continues. We decided to look at the weather radar and predict where the storm would be headed next… that’s when we saw a breakage in the clouds over Downtown Auburn Hills, MI. And that’s where we went!!… We ended up having a beautiful engagement shoot in Auburn Hills with two of the most easy going, go with the flow people!
