High school senior shoot in Northville, MI with Taylor

We had a fun day with Taylor and her mom Julie. We started her senior pictures at Millrace Village with several of her friends and then we continued on to downtown Northville, which is one of the cutest towns I’ve been to. Taylor is on the Pom-pon squad so after downtown Northville, we went over to a high school and shot photos of her in her poms uniform. Finishing up our day, we went to their house and got a few more pictures using the amazing architecture around their home. Taylor is the final Petrillo in the family, we shot her older brother Michael’s senior pictures a few years ago and we did Katie’s senior pics last year in downtown Rochester.

New born baby shoot at the studio with Scarlett

We have known the DeClaire’s for several years now, and we ALWAYS love working with them. This photo shoot was for their brand new baby Scarlett. She was born about a week before these pictures were taken and my what a beauty she is! We shot her new born photography at our Rochester Hills studio with her parents and big sister Ivy.

Downtown Rochester engagement shoot with Antoinette and Frank

We shot Frank and Antoinette’s engagement pictures on a hot day in downtown Rochester, Michigan. We started out in Rochester park and got some cute creek side photos and then moved to downtown for a more urban backdrop. Frank and Antoinette both grew up in Michigan but now live in Chicago. Antoinette’s mom drove a vintage Mercedes to the shoot so we could get some sweet shots of the couple with an incredibly cool car.

Masterminds 2012 – Oregon

Every year we get together with our masterminds group which is a group of photographers from all around the country to share ideas. Over the years we have become great friends which is really important since we are critiquing every aspect of each others business!
This year we met out in Oregon where Eric and Shawna live.

We always like to do some group photos while we’re all together and this year, the fields and open sky of rural Oregon made a perfect backdrop.

Eric and Shawna own a cottage near Detroit Lake which is a beautiful spot. Going out on the boat provided us a nice quiet spot to sit and relax and chat about business, family, life, etc.

Greek wedding at the Greceian center with Yianni and Stacy

We were really excited to shoot Yianni and Stacy’s wedding. Getting to know them has been a whirlwind; we met with them, shot their engagement photos and their wedding all within a week and a half! But we really hit it off and enjoyed every minute of it! The day of the wedding, it was hot…actually, it was CRAZY hot so we were definitely concerned about their outdoor photos but everything worked out perfectly and we got some amazing photos! Yianni and Stacy got married at the St George Greek Orthodox church, which is definitely one of the prettiest churches we have ever shot at! Following their ceremony we were able to go to downtown Wyandotte and get some great bride and groom photos. We finished the night off at their gorgeous wedding reception at the Grecian Center which is one of downriver’s finest banquet hall facilites.
