Yesterday we went out to Lansing, MI to take Matthew and Shannon’s engagement pictures. They’re having a Michigan wedding next year and it was really nice to get a jump on some of their photography and get their engagement session done early. We had a blast when we found this field of tall grass. From the car it looked about waist high but when we actually got out there, it was more like over-the-head high which was hilarious!

I love East Lansing. Those used to be my shooting backdrops as well.
