Wedding in Port Huron with Chris and Amanda

Chris and Amanda had an absolutely amazing wedding yesterday. It was the type of wedding that every photographer dreams of. Both of their parents have beautiful homes along the shores of Lake Huron. Everywhere we went, we had good light and a cool breeze coming off the water.
We always love doing weddings that are unique and different and having everything in their backyard with the lake view was truly fabulous.

Amanda had a stunning dress that was beautifully presented in her changing room:

For some of the photos we went to the river front right under the Blue Water Bridge that crosses over into Canada. Amanda was a trooper, climbing around on the rocks by the shoreline:

Next we went to downtown Port Huron and walked around for a little while:

Amanda’s mom happens to be an accomplished cake maker and made probably the biggest and most extravagant cake we have ever seen:

Along with the biggest cake we had ever seen, they also had the biggest tent we had ever seen. It was provided by Special Event Rentals in Warren, MI and it was amazing. There were probably between 300-400 people and it held them all just fine along with multiple food stations, a band, large dance floor, and lounge complete with couches…amazing!!

There was a fantastic team of people that put everything together. Flowers by Hollye Mackler. Planning and coordinating done by Something Fabulous.
