The full class cost is $125.
This will be a large group lecture style class where we will cover all the basics of digital photography and it will be suited for ANYONE with a digital camera who is a photo enthusiast. NO previous knowledge, skill, or experience is required.
The class will start out at a very simple level and discuss different types of cameras, camera accessories, computer equipment and software necessary to further develop your photographic hobby.
The class will then move into a discussion on photographic composition to give you some tips and ideas of things to look for when taking photos to make them more interesting.
We will then get into the specifics of what your camera is doing and how to control it, to get better images. This will start to get a little more technical as we talk about the main subjects - Aperture, Shutter Speed, Exposure compensation, ISO, and White Balance. We will explain the fundamentals of how these things impact your images along with how, when, and why you want to be able to control them so you won't need to leave your camera on automatic.
Lastly we will get into what everyone wants which is some basics of Photoshop editing using Photoshop Elements. I will demonstrate some quick and easy techniques to really make your images pop.
There will be a breakout session where it will be helpful to have your camera with you.
