At noon today I have an appointment on my calendar to have lunch with my friend Todd Lloyd.
That appointment is cancelled. Instead, last night I was at a memorial celebration for him and his partner who died in a plane crash earlier this month.
Todd was a dynamic individual and a charismatic leader that never took himself too seriously.
Things like this make you really think about life. If I could touch even a fraction of the lives that Todd did, I would feel very accomplished.
Seeing the entire ballroom at Lovett Hall packed out with standing room only gives you an idea of what kind of man he was.
Todd was always about making memories. Last night at the party, they got to continue that legacy by making a memory for Todd’s nephew Austin. Austin got to be up on stage and feel like a rockstar for a few minutes. How awesome!!
We’ll miss you Todd.
