We know that each and every wedding takes special attention and is completely unique. We take pride in the multicultural weddings we’ve been a part of for the last decade. We know that it can be hard to find the right wedding photographer, especially when you have a wedding that isn’t the traditional Christian or Catholic event. Here are highlights from Jewish weddings we’ve photographed, and we hope you love them as much as we do!
Signing the Ketubah:
This is such a sweet moment before the wedding ceremony. The signing of the wedding contract surrounded by family and loved ones is an intimate, sweet moment before all the festivities of the day begin. We love these moments.
Our previous Jewish wedding clients have designed some stunning weddings. The elaborate florals and huppahs create a beautiful atmosphere. We’ve photographed Jewish weddings all over metro Detroit, venues like Temple Israel, the Fillmore Detroit, Westin Book Cadillac, and more.
We know how much time and effort goes into designing a reception hall. We want to show your beautiful vision off in it’s best light! As the night progresses, we’ll capture every moment – from the blessing of the challah, to dinner, to the toasts, and finally to the high-energy Hora dance to Hava Nagila! Many Jewish weddings end up having live music, which keeps the party going long into the night.
Some weddings like to do the Krenzel dance while we’re still at the reception – and we love this! This dance honors parents who are marrying off their last child, and everyone dances around them as they are seated on the dance floor.
Bride and Groom:
Some of your most treasured images from your wedding day will be the bride and groom portraits, as well as your bridal party images. We love taking the time to represent your love in pictures.
Jewish weddings are rich with tradition and ancient practice, but have been modernized over time. We love being as involved as we can be on your special day!
