Here’s a little more about Andrea:
Andrea is a member of her high school’s color guard and she can spin all kinds of things from flags to rifles! She is also a member of her school’s French Club, Theater Club, R.A.T.S and Girl Scouts! Andrea also has a twin brother and before we could even ask she said, “and no, we do not look alike” haha! She always has hair ties in her purse and her “hippie clothes” are her favorite things in her closet. Outside of school, Andrea enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music and hanging out with friends. Andrea’s friends would describe her as “Sarcastic and fierce”. Although I think the term “awesome” sums her up pretty well too! This past weekend we had a blast with Andrea as she attended our senior model party and walked in our 2015 Fashion Show!
Andrea says that she’s excited to be an Arising Images Senior Model because, “From what I have see so far, everyone seems like they’ve had a ton of fun and made so many friends. I’m excited to branch out and meet girls from other schools. I’m also excited because I think this will help me show myself, and others, that a “model” isn’t restricted to a certain aesthetic. I can be myself and still be a model. I think society needs a reality check on what it means to be ‘model material’.” Preach it, girl!
For Andrea’s model session, we had the chance to capture some Frozen inspired Michigan senior pictures. She wanted to put her own spin on a “Frozen” photo shoot and we were all for it! We were really excited for her session because we knew these pictures were going to turn out absolutely breath taking! Luckily Prem made a trip out to Iceland last year so we had a ton of great backgrounds to photoshop her into!
Andrea had on THE perfect dress and with her gorgeous blonde hair, she looked absolutely stunning in her winter wonderland. For this next shot, we had a lot of fun getting that wind blown look in her hair by using a leaf blower! Andrea was quite the trooper and managed to stay fierce and beautiful no matter how high we cranked that thing up!
It was such a pleasure working with this awesome girl! Her laid back and sarcastic (in a good way ;)!) personality made for a really fun shoot and a lot of laughs! We can’t wait to photograph her senior pictures soon!
We spent the afternoon with Andrea at the farm for her Michigan senior model photography session. This girl is such a blast. A major part of her high school career has been color guard. She has made amazing friendships there and has enjoyed her time being part of that team. We had the opportunity to photograph her in her gear and grab a few Rochester High color guard senior photos.
She also has a real love for reading and we wanted to capture that for her as well. As photography is capturing a moment, sometimes getting a photo of reading or a love for books could be very “posey” but I think this photo of her reading is really beautiful.
You can’t shoot senior photos in Lake Orion at the farm without taking advantage of the items and surroundings. I would say she did a fantastic job of doing these photos but how could you not with those eyes, beautiful blond hair and super cool fashion sense! I love her outfits.
But at the farm, not only are there “things” to use, but also just the open land and fields. These sometimes are some of our favorite pics with the light coming through the grasses or making the grass look so natural and beautiful.
