We had a wonderful day with Angela and Dan. They had their Michigan wedding ceremony in the Anderson Theater and their indoor reception in the Henry Ford Museum, which was very cool because the museum was open and the guests were free to roam around. Angela looked dazzling in her Maggie Soterro gown and her Jimmy Choo shoes, she was also one of the most fun and laid back brides we ever photographed. She and Dan were both “go with the flow” kind of people. The wedding party got ready at the Dearborn Inn and then went to Greenfield Village for their outdoor Michigan wedding pictures.
Angela’s dad passed away earlier this year, and his trademark was flannel shirts. So she had a flannel pocket sewed into her wedding dress to remind her of him.
When we were outside taking pictures one of the most remarkable things happened, Angela has always wanted a winter wedding and was bummed because there was no snow, so all of a sudden she looked up and said, “Come on Dad, where’s the snow?” … and right then and there it started snowing!! It was absolutely incredible!
