This past Saturday we had the opportunity to photograph an awesome wedding for Cristina and Tim. We were shooting the wedding as a replacement for another photographer friend of ours who had an emergency and couldn’t make it. What a great day we had! I was fortunate to have Adam Czap along for second shooting.
We started the day at Cristina’s house. She had custom designed her own wedding dress.
Viviano’s Flowers did an amazing job as always.
The wedding was at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament which is an incredible church in downtown Detroit, MI.
After the ceremony we went to a private residence in the amazing Boston/Edison district of Detroit. Most people don’t even know that this area exists. There are some amazing historical mansions in the area. We were able to get some great pics of them inside one of the houses that was opened up through a friend of Cristina’s family.
We then went to the Guardian building in Detroit which is a fine example of Art Deco architecture showing off what Detroit was like back in the day.
Cristina and Tim had an amazing Michigan wedding reception at the Palazzo Grande. The Palazzo can host weddings of any size and is a great suburban wedding venue.
