This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Ed and Nancy’s wedding in Rochester, Michigan. This was one of those weddings that really makes us love our job. Ed and Nancy are one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever met. Their whole wedding was so easy going and you could just feel their love for each other. It couldn’t have been a better day and we were so glad to have been a part of it!
Ed and Nancy had a very sweet and intimate first look. Their eyes lit up when they saw each other for the first time. We always love when our couple’s do a first look. It’s a great way to calm each others nerves, have a quiet moment together and it really sets the mood for the rest of the day. After their first look, we took them around downtown Rochester for their photoshoot. Nancy was such a beautiful bride in her gorgeous gown and with those adorable dimples of hers! We just can’t stop saying how cute these two were. Every photo of them turned out amazing!
After their photoshoot, we went to the Korean United Methodist Church where they had their ceremony. Again, everything was perfect. The church was decorated beautifully and the ceremony was full of smiles, laughter and a lot of happy tears.
Ed and Nancy’s reception at the Royal Park Hotel was amazing! We were blown away because Nancy’s mother was their florist and she did an amazing job. There were a ton of different types of flowers that were put together so elegantly. They used a lot of white, green and ivory and then added a hint of color with some beautiful pink tulips. Colonial Events also provided some of their decor. One of our favorite pieces was the gorgeous gold “LOVE” sign that was placed behind the head table. Ed and Nancy’s wedding cake that was done by Militello’s Bakery was also incredibly stunning.
Ed and Nancy, thanks so much for choosing us to capture your big day! We had such a great time and we can’t wait to see you again!
