This morning we had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan for their annual unveiling of the giant gingerbread house. It is the unofficial start to Christmas in Rochester. We’ve been photographing this event for many years. This year, not only did we get to photograph the event, but our boys were given the chance to be the official ribbon cutters!!
Every year, it gets better and better. Not only is the gingerbread house impressive but it’s also done in partnership with the Salvation Army. You can buy “bricks” to help support the Salvation Army. So, please take the time to go visit the gingerbread house and support a wonderful charity. While there, stop in and have lunch at their restaurant. Our family enjoyed a nice lunch there and also had a surprise visit from Paws and Roary!
