What a beautiful day! Our first wedding of the year takes place at the Eagle Tavern at Henry Ford. We love this couple for so many reasons, and it’s easy to see why! Not only does Ashley look amazing in her drop-waist beaded gown and tiara with emerald accents, but all the green accents in this wedding are the perfect spring time touch. We started our day by walking around Greenfield Village taking photos with the bride, groom, and the bridal party. This Eagle Tavern at Henry Ford wedding was so happy, cozy, and we felt like part of the family! We had so much time to spend with Joe and Ashley before the ceremony that we got a lot of portraits in beautiful locations! Take a look at some of their portraits below.
It’s ceremony time! Their ceremony took place at Martha Mary Chapel on the grounds at Henry Ford. This chapel is so quaint and beautiful. It was the perfect time of day, with soft light coming through the windows. We loved their simple, sweet ceremony, and we also loved how much fun they had ringing the church bells afterwards!
Now it’s time to party! The Eagle Tavern was decked out for their wedding with beautiful bulb string lights lining the room, simple candle accents on the tables, and the amazing smell of eucalyptus greens as centerpieces. These two are surrounded by the best family and friends. Watching this couple be celebrated by people that love them was such a great way to start of the wedding season for us! They had really charming touches in their reception, including having a Grand Traverse Pie Co. pie as their wedding cake!
A special thank you to all the vendors we worked with on this lovely day!
